A monster post of July and August covers…
The Good

Julia Stegner and Vogue Deutsch are a match made in heaven for their July issue... only wish the masthead was a contrasting colour to pop more!

This Daria in Burberry cover is unbelievably simple, yet so reminiscent of '80s photography that I like it.
The Mediocre

Can see why Sasha's been scoring cosmetic contracts on Vogue UK's August cover but it's a little safe and lacks the usual Sasha edge!

It pains me to see the naturally gorgeous Christy Photoshopped/Botoxed so badly and with a kinda awkward leg pose.

Sigrid is the cover model for Vogue China's August issue, I think her pose and expression could be stronger but it's pretty solid anyway, despite the cacophony of cover lines! Yikes!

Julianne Moore's autumn looks don't exactly work for a July cover but it's nice nonetheless (damn, I wonder how depressing it is to always be tapped for "age" issues).

This cover's just ok but a touch awkward? And I still can't understand Anna Wintour's obsession with Sienna Miller...

Numéro's August issue crops up on Catherine McNeil, the angle's kind of cool but the shot doesn't bowl me over.
The Bad
Surprisingly nothing too offensive this time around, Miley Cyrus’ Elle cover for August jumps to mind immediately but my blog’s a Miley-free zone. A girl’s gotta have some standards.
