Lykke Li hails from Sweden and boasts a playful indie pop record produced by a member of Peter Bjorn and John and remixes by CSS and Black Kids. Born in 1986 (!), she just finished a North American tour with Friendly Fires and will tour again in 02.09. Like many other hyped artists (she’s performed at a V Magazine party and her music’s been on The Hills and in Urban Outfitters and the Gap), we’ll have to see if she can outlast the buzz.
