summer in paris

While not a Photoshop savant by any means, I’ve been wanting to try my hand at designing a fashion collage. Here’s my first collage, inspired by Vogue Paris‘ June/July issue. Click for higher quality, and let me know what you think!

    Nice job!
Primo those pink Lanvin shoes above Liu Wen’s head are to die for!
The polka dotted shoes in front of Vanessa Paradis are SO French although I’ve never seen anyone wearing a pair eventhough I work in the center of Paris.
I’m so into shoes lately. Are shoes the new bags? There was a time when we all ranted and raved everytime a new bag came out.The same thing’s been happening with shoes this past year or two.Dior and Louboutin have been driving me crazy!Unfortunately not in my budget at the mo.

Thanks for all your kind comments! And commenting all the time…What’s your name?
Shoes are definitely the new ‘it’ item, check out the jak & jil blog for proof! I still find bags more justifiable to buy than crazy expensive shoes!

Sarah my name’s Jean or Jeanne for the francophiles.I’m French/American and came across your blog totally by chance while looking up info on Daria Verbowy.I immediately liked your articles, got hooked and bookmarked your blog.
I tried to place a pic in my icon but its so technical I’ll wait for my bf Claude to do it soon.I don’t even remember how I started an account with the pseudo peek-a-boo LOL!
I totally agree with you about bags being more justifiable than shoes.Bags go a longer way than shoes but I just love looking at shoes. The thing is I’m taller than my bf so I kinda have to avoid heels.Sigh!Catchya later sarah.

    Hey Jean!

I can see your pic now! I love shoes, but I’m pretty sucky at wearing heels so bags are more practical for me.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, I always look forward to seeing what you have to say!
    Sarah
