celine resort 2010

Phoebe Philo presented her first designs for Celine with the Resort 2010 collection, showing a variety of versatile suits, dresses, coats and accessories. So far, the collection is garnering fairly positive reviews from Style.com and The New York TimesCathy Horyn, who favoured Look 5 — an “olive-denim slim skirt with zips and an army-inspired jacket.” Those eagerly anticipating Philo’s next designs  will have to wait until October for Celine’s Summer/Spring 2010 line. So do you like Phoebe for Celine or still prefer her for Chloé?

p.s. I’m on a Photoshop kick, please enjoy the Vogue Paris-inspired layout!

I loved her work at Chloé.However I think she’s reinvented herself here.Apart from a what looked like a dirty sheared rabbit coat and a blanket poncho like black coat, I loved everything. No risk factors just great clothes. The jackets and coats had me squealing. As did the shoes.
    Have a nice weekend Sarah!

    Hi Jean!

Some of Philo’s designs will take some more pondering, but the silhouettes and the coats are to die for! The accessories are pretty simple and timeless too. I can’t wait to see what she does for in the next fashion week. Thanks and have a great weekend too!

  3. Excellent facsimile! I was wondering why the heck Vogue Paris was printed in English. Well done.
