new classic

Really liked Filippa Hamilton back in the day with her caterpillar brows, patrician looks and work for Ralph Lauren. She really doesn’t do much work aside from RL, if even that now, thanks to Photoshop scandal, but good to reminisce with this Vogue Italia-Mario Testino editorial.

    Filippa is absolutely Gorgeous!
Ralph Lauren mishandled her so badly after her loyal services. She got sweet talked into that RL exclusivity and gave up the chance to be the next Gisele. It was scandalous how RL treated her.Filippa practically grew up the RL team even considering them part of her family. How they just toyed with her and spat her out.And Mister Lauren himself didn’t lift a finger to defend her in the slightest. What a weary world we live in.
    Nice flashback editorial btw!

Used to love Filippa, still think she’s pretty, but I feel her career’s pretty much over as RL was all she did! Quite a shame, guess RL isn’t quite the family it purports itself to be! Very disheartening situation! Hope another company swoops in and signs her.

Agree. Her career’s over.Even Victoria’s Secret probably think she’s risky after the RL photoshopping scandal & Filippa’s complaining on talk shows.Pity.She could have gobe very far.

Makes me so sad!! The modeling biz is cold! At least, she seems to come from a well-off family, so her situation is likely better than other models who become obsolete!
