louis vuitton f/w 2010

Classic Meisel for Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2010 campaign. Following the theme of “And God Created Woman” as seen on the runway, the brand’s mature womanly casting continues here with the mega-trio of Natalia Vodianova, Christy Turlington and Karen Elson.

I love the models but I’m underwhelmed by this campaign. It has undertones of Prada.Apart from two bags(the patent black & last one next to Christy) I’m not into the clothes at all.Too retro for me.
Can you identify yourself with the clothes Sarah? Not in my case.

The models are a good sell, but the clothes are another story, way too aspirational and out of context for me. Guess there is a reason they cast a 20, 30 & 40-something moms! I would love to wear some pieces, but most are not my reality! Seems like LV is targeting a different customer…

OMG I forgot to tell you Sarah about some pretty bad & blatant photoshopping. Look at the first & last picture you’ve posted. Christy & Natalia’s hands/arms do not correspond with their reflections in the mirror LOL! My BF pointed that out to me.Spooky but funny!

Whoa trippy! Especially the last pic with Natalia! It’s like there’s a phantom in the mirror… Don’t get how these blatant Photoshop mistakes keep happening. Evidently there are extra arms in the new Lanvin ads with Magda, Anja & Mariacarla too.
