Perhaps Kate and Laura Mulleavy would have been better suited making costumes for True Grit than Black Swan (especially in light of what a PR nightmare that ended up being!) with their very pastoral-romantic Fall 2011 collection. With a subdued palette except for a bold red, the sibling duo held true to their emphasis on fabrics using heavy wools, mohair, beading and silks.
