If it wasn’t evident enough on the SS10 runways of Balmain, Celine, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chloé that the military craze is in, it definitely will be after flipping through March magazines. Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Paris all propel the trend with their tough, combat-heavy editorials.

Even though Iselin Steiro took a hiatus from modelling to finish school, she does come back periodically and what’s a better offer than being the face of Lanvin’s Spring 2009 ads? In my opinion, Lanvin’s ads don’t need much, only to feature the gorgeous Alber Elbaz gowns and accessories. So this campaign manages to be effective with the Norwegian model’s piercing stare and the house’s elaborate clothes contrasted by a rundown apartment.
