Refreshing to see Gucci use a fresher cast for SS11 led by Joan Smalls and Karmen Pedaru with newbie Hailey Clauson in the backdrop. Looking at these, I’m ready for a vacation!

To fete 90 fashion-filled years, Vogue Paris boldly goes with – who else? – but Lara Stone’s infamous breasts for  a very epic October 2010 cover.

In case it wasn’t hammered home enough by now, ladylike looks are back with a vengeance. Forget about the destroyed holey hobo look and oversized boyfriend tees, this fall is all about structure and fit thanks to uber-womanly designs from Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Marc Jacobs. The usually unclothed Lara Stone models the best of the season’s prim sweaters, pinched waists and long skirts in this Mert and Marcus editorial for September’s Vogue. And with her usual narrative styling, the always brilliant Grace Coddington manages to inject warmth into an otherwise rote ’50s shoot! One negative even though Lara looks fabulous with her Veronica Lake do, but her eyes-to-the-sky demure pose is a touch too much!
